Happy New Year! 

The Second Grade is certain that 2020 is going to be a fantastic year! 

After a warm and wonderful winter break, students returned to school rested and excited for the year ahead. We discussed the tradition of New Year’s resolutions and then proceeded to set reasonable goals. All second graders brainstormed ways to improve academically as well as socially, and we agreed that focusing on math, reading, and friendships is a great place to start. 

I am impressed with the overall progress of the class, and I am eager to see what lies ahead for such a bright, enthusiastic, and positive group of eager learners!
